In 2008 I published my first book with another self-publishing company. Then I decided to continue the printing and distribution of my book with Positive Imaging. I always knew I could write.  Editing, publishing and marketing a book was and remains pure smoke and mirrors.  This is probably true for the majority of authors. In my view, if you are serious about having your work read, get a publisher . . . a full service publisher.  No matter how good your story is, if it has no viability and a convenient way for a potential reader to find it . . . will will not sell.  Selling a few here and there at a book signing is not much of a reward for all the effort you put into writing your book.   In my case, I was too busy to do that.
