I’m a writer and independent book publisher who has been writing and publishing books since the late 1970s, before print-on-demand and the minimum book order was 500 copies. This was a serious investment for any self-publisher.
I operate Positive Imaging, LLC, a one-person business publishing books for mostly Austin authors, but I’ve worked with authors across the country. I started Positive Imaging, LLC in 2007 and since then I’ve published nearly one hundred print books and also eBooks and hardcover books.
I also operate two other online publishing companies, Publishing Simplified and Bill’s Publishing but it’s all just me and sometimes help from my wife Barbara.
Mainly I write non-fiction about self-publishing, woodworking and the handy person business but during 2014 I took a bold step to write a book on relationships. It was something I had thought about for years and had always feared doing.

I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and moved to Austin, Texas, where I now live with my wife Barbara Frances, who is also a writer.
She writes novels including Like I Used To Dance, Shadow’s Way, and a children’s chapter book Lottie’s Adventure: Facing The Monster. She also wrote a non-fiction book entitled Conscious Ageing and just finished a novel-play, Silent Crossing, which I published recently as I have all her other books.
